During class break, Most students enjoyed to have talk each others. In that occasion, Daniela said, " What is your name?" while she hold assignment list in her hand. Then, I answered, "Fahmi". She looked not satisfied, then she continued to ask, " I mean your other names". I got a bit confused to answer it, " Just call me Fahmi, my full name is Mochammad Fahmi Habibi. All of those are given name. I have no family name".
Suddenly all of students in class were quiet and looked at me because of my answer. "How come you don't have your own family name?", Farnaz, an Iranian asked me. Honestly, even I don't know how to answer this question. "This is usual in my country, only several families have their own family name". Anyway, it was ridiculous :D
Sepertinya memang ada yang aneh ketka saya tidak punya nama keluarga atau marga di belakang nama lengkap karena memang semua murid di kelas punya nama tersebut. Yah, namanya juga hidup dalam suatu kemajemukan, wajar lah pasti ada yang berbeda.
